Library of Care Pathways
Following the recent switching off of the Protocols and Care Pathways Collection in the UK Health Information Resources website (formerly the National Library for Health, and before that the National Electronic Library for Health (NeLH)), there is no longer an online forum for the free sharing of care pathways.
In response to pleas from the care pathway community of practice, we have set up this care pathway library to enable you to identify where care pathways are being developed in your field of interest and to give you the opportunity to share knowledge, experience, ideas and examples of care pathways and evidence-based good practice.
We have kept this collection to a simple list of care pathway titles, ordered by therapeutic area or profession and with details of the organisation, contact and a brief description of the care pathway. We hope that the ease of adding and updating your care pathway information using the simple add/ edit/ delete form will encourage you to use the library. Let us know if this meets your needs.
The success of the library will only be fully realised if everyone adds their pathways and keeps their details updated. So please let your colleagues know about the library and encourage them to add their care pathways.
Also - add your pathways at the earliest phase of their development - we can all learn and share at every stage of their planning, design, implementation, evaluation and improvement!
